Hallo allemaal! Mijn naam is Angela. Als artiestennaam hanteer ik Aiden, aangezien ik de betekenis van ‘vuur’ erg toepasselijk vind. Het vuur om te creëren was een tijdje gedoofd, maar door de juiste mensen en omgeving is die weer helemaal aangewakkerd. 

 

Creatief bezig zijn is van jongs af aan al een grote liefde van mij geweest. Aan het einde van mijn basisschool tijd kwam daar tekenen bij en na de kunstacademie was ik een fanatiek schilder. Ik heb veel verschillende dingen geprobeerd, geen materiaal of techniek is veilig voor mij. Mijzelf uitdagen, daar hou ik van. Nieuwe dingen ontdekken en daarvan leren, dat geeft mij energie. 

 

De projecten waar ik aan heb meegewerkt:

• Nederlands Symfonie Project ‘Finale’, zomer 2022
  6 illustraties verzorgt voor het programmaboekje, samen met een poster

• Kerstkaart Worldconnectors, Affiliate Earth Charter, winter 2023
  Op vrijwillige basis een kerstkaart ontworpen voor de leden 

• De brilslang, de boktor en de andere dieren, zomer 2024
  100 illustraties bij de filosofische fabels van dit boek, inclusief de cover

• 100 jarig Jubileum Willemsparkschool, zomer 2024
  Opmaak en illustraties voor het jubileum boek van een basisschool in Amsterdam

• Live schilderen op een bruiloft, zomer 2024
  Als cadeau aan het bruidspaar. Super tof om te doen! 

• Road Rebels, zomer 2024
  6 illustraties gemaakt voor hun communicatie uitingen

• Jong Nederland, zomer 2024
  (Gebruiksvriendelijk) opmaak van hun risico inventarisatie document

Hello everyone! My name is Angela. As an artist name I like to use Aiden, since I find the meaning ‘fire’ pretty suitable. The fire to create had been extinguished for a long time, but because of the right people and environment it’s blazing again.

 

Being creative has been a big love of mine ever since I was young. At the end of middle school drawing was added to the long list of hobbies and after art school I was a fanatic painter. I tried a lot of different things, no material or technique is safe from me. I like challenging myself. Discovering new things and learning from them, gives me energy.

• Nederlands Symfonie Project (Dutch Symphonic Project) ‘Finale’, summer 2022
  Made 6 illustrations for the program book, together with a poster design

• Christmas card Worldconnectors, Affiliate Earth Charter, winter 2023
  Voluntary project where I made a Christmas card for the members of the organization

• The spectacled snake, the longhorn beetle and the other animals (original title: De brilslang, de boktor en de andere dieren),  summer 2024
  100 illustrations that go with philosophical stories, including images for the cover

• 100 years Anniversary of Willemsparkschool, summer 2024
  Design and illustrations for the anniversary book of a middle school in Amsterdam

• Live painting on a wedding, summer 2024
  As a gift for the bride and groom. An amazing experience!
