My previous banner design, that even though now I like the more calm vibe of my current banner, am still pretty happy with this one. At first, I had a pretty basic banner for my website. A light colored block that simply stated my name and occupation in a clean black font.

Nothing wrong with that, but some people close to me told me it would be best to maybe express myself in that banner. Something I experienced or put my feelings in there. At least make it a little more interesting and appealing to look at. So that's what I tried to do.

Originally for my first idea I cut a piece out of a painting I made. And there was someone that saw a moon with a waterfall and a forest in it. Which was interesting, because the painting I used was completely abstract. Just paint strokes.
